The Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League is pleased to announce that Jerome Linklater of the Norman Northstars is the CCM Hockey Player of the Week.

On Friday, in the first game of back-to-backs against the Central Plains Capitals, Jerome potted a goal and added an assist as the Northstars were downed 8-5. On Saturday, Linklater contributed two primary assists and scored twice, including the game winning goal, to give the Northstars their first win of the season!

While the Northstars have struggled this season, Linklater has been one of the bright spots. He currently has 5 goals and 13 assists in just 17 games played, putting him just one point back of the team lead. The second year forward had 11 points last season.
